About Tyler Dragon

I'm Tyler Dragon of Fresno, California. A graduate from Howard University in Washington, DC. Currently I’m an employee at ESPN (my views for this site do not reflect the company). I am also a track & field athlete specializing in discus and shot put. You can also find me at a gym or a basketball court near you. As a former honor student and top collegiate athlete I have been afforded with many invaluable experiences during my college career. These experiences include a visit to the White House, interning at ABC, being invited to “Pardon the Interruption”, attending Black Congressional Caucus events, serving as a contributing writer for newspapers in Washington, DC, competing at collegiate championship track meets, and many more. I believe that the value of any experience is what the individual gains and learns from the experience. Though my experiences while attending college have been diverse in nature; I have learned through all of them that with hard work, dedication, networking, resourcefulness, and perseverance one can achieve great things. Being a very motivated, humble, dedicated and confident individual; I always strive for excellence in working toward the achievement of my personal goals. These are attributes that I take with me into any setting. For this website I will give everybody the perspective of an athlete on hot sport topics across the country and world. You can also catch me on twitter @the1dragon
