Lawrence Taylor's career has been filled with controversy and questionable decisions.
NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was sentenced today to six months probation and no jail time for his guilty plea on a sexual misconduct charge.
Taylor admitted in January to having sex with a minor who had been prostituted to him and will now have to register as a sex offender. A New York court will determine what level to classify him under on April 12.
The girl, who was apparently 16, told Taylor that she was 19 at the time according to the former New York Giants star. The prosecutor said Taylor’s deal of not doing jail time was partly a result of him providing inside information on the field of human trafficking in several jurisdictions according to a USA Today article.
